The Other Side

Hope To See You There

Recently, a friend of mine lost his grandmother and my cousin released a song entitled "The Other Side." This article is dedicated to them, to Yahweh, and to all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I hope we will see each other on the other side.

Death is inevitable. It is something that we all have in common. And while it's true that we must face death, as Christians we know that death is only the beginning. The start of an everlasting journey with our Creator. All we have to do is submit ourselves and seek repentance for our sins. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says "If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Because of our fall from grace, we deserve eternal damnation. However, we serve a God who desires us to have forever with Him. That is why Yeshua died on the cross - so that we may be forgiven for our transgressions and live in the light His glory for all eternity.

Revelation 21:3-8 says, "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

So, stay strong in the Lord my fellow brothers and sisters. Believe in the One who granted you Life, the greatest gift we will ever receive. And I will see again on "The Other Side."
